George Floyd’s family met with President Joe Biden and key lawmakers involved in policing reform negotiations on the 1-year anniversary of his death.
Floyd’s brother, Philonise Floyd, family attorney Benjamin Crump, and rapper Lil Baby were seen standing together outside of the White House with other family members following the meeting. Philonise told reporters the family had a “great” meeting with the President and vice president and while speaking about Biden, he stated, “He’s a genuine guy. They always speak from the heart.”
