Reports surfaced noting that an iconic image of XXXTentacion will be released as an NFT.
A photo that the late rapper uploaded to his Instagram in 2018, shot by photographer Aimos, is set to be sold via auction on May 25. It was noted the NFT would be released on the Blockparty marketplace. Aimos spoke on the XXXTentacion portrait, saying, “NFTs are a very exciting new medium for photographers. We now can create additional resources for young photographers and for those who aren’t as well-informed, and moving forward, we’re creating a system to give artists more opportunities.”
