Former President Donald Trump made a surprise appearance at Sneaker Con in Philadelphia, where he unveiled his “Never Surrender High-Tops,” which retail for $399.
Trump was met with both loud cheers and boos at the event, which he addressed by stating, “There’s a lot of emotion in this room.” Speaking about the sneakers, he added, “I have some incredible people that work with me on things, and they came up with this, and this is something I’ve been talking about for 12 years, 13 years, and I think it’s gonna be a big success.”
Only 1,000 pairs of the shoes were available on the website, with at least 10 of them being “randomly autographed by Trump.” They quickly sold out after they launched, and he also launched the “T-Red Wave” sneaker and the “POTUS 45,” both priced at $199.
