The Golden State Warriors came into tonight’s game against the Toronto Raptors without Kevin Durant but were still expected to handle their business and take Game 1 on the road.
Kawhi Leonard did not dominate in the fashion that many were looking forward to but was lifted by his teammates who contributed tremendously en route to the victory. The unsung hero of Game 1 for the Raptors was Pascal Siakam who dropped 32 points and was very active on the defensive end. As the Warriors gear up for Game 2 after being punched in the mouth on Thursday night, the Raptors are hoping to ride the momentum from Game 1 and protect home court on Sunday in Game 2.
