A fan at the Tour de France about 30 miles into the 15th stage caused a huge crash that wiped out over 15 riders as a result of them trying to take a selfie.

The fan hit American rider Sepp Kuss, sending him careening to the ground as other riders began to tumble after him. There were luckily no major injuries resulting from the crash. Kuss talked with Cycling News regarding the accident and noted, “There was a spectator leaning into the road, I guess. It just happened suddenly, and that’s part of the Tour, there are a lot of people. Ideally, that wouldn’t happen, but it’s the biggest bike race in the world and a lot of people don’t know exactly what’s going on.”
