Metro Boomin discussed Drake and Kendrick Lamar’s feud at the 2024 Forbes 30 Under 30 Summit in Cincinnati, Ohio.
The acclaimed producer, who’s worked with both men but aligned with Lamar in the beef, thought the battle was good for Hip-Hop. Metro viewed the battle positively, but he disliked one aspect of it. He criticized “Stan culture” for its role in Drake and Lamar’s feud.
Metro suggested he harboured no ill for Drake despite the two dissing each other during the high-profile battle. Drake and Lamar’s 2024 battle began when the K. Dot dissed the OVO star on Future and Metro’s “Like That.” Drake took shots at Metro on the diss tracks “Push Ups” and “Family Matters.” Metro responded with an instrumental diss titled “BBL Drizzy.”
