Meek Mill recently took to Instagram and posted a video of him going back and forth with security outside of the Cosmopolitan Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas after he and his team were told they would not be allowed to enter the premises.
Meek and his team were there to see DJ Mustard perform. In the video, Meek could be heard asking why he couldn’t enter, with the guard saying “I don’t know why.” Along with that, Meek was threatened with being arrested if he did not leave the premises.
Since then, Meek’s lawyer—Joe Tacopina said via a letter that:
“We have learned that the Cosmopolitan maintains a list of African American recording artists who should be denied access for no other reason than their culture and skin color. Such course of conduct constitutes discrimination per se, in violation of state and federal law, and exposes you to significant monetary damages.”
