Kanye recently sat down with David Letterman for his Netflix series My Next Guest Needs No Introduction.

During the interview, he opened up about his late mother, Donda, and how he thinks she would’ve reacted to her grandchildren.

Kanye explained:

“This would have been the funnest time of her life, to have those kids running around that house and being able to, like, go and buy them toys. I remember my mother bought me a bear that was multi-coloured and I was very into Takashi Murakami at that time, on the third album Graduation. She said it kinda feels like Takashi Murakami and I was, like, ‘I don’t want that. That ain’t no Takashi Murakami bear’ and stuff like that.”
