Although Lil Wayne released the sixth installment of his Dedication series this past Christmas, Mixtape Weezy is already up for a second serving.
On Thursday, DatPiff announced the release date for Dedication 6 Reloaded, along with the official tracklist, while Wayne posted the official cover art via social media. Dedication 6 Reloaded will be released on Friday, January 26 at 6 pm EST. The project, which is hosted by the legendary DJ Drama, will feature guest appearances by Drake, Juelz Santana, Gudda Gudda, Lil Twist, Stephanie, Rich The Kid, Jay Jones, Marley G, Vice Versa, and Euro. Over the last few weeks, Wayne has released several tracks off the project, including a remix to Jay-Z’s “Family Feud” featuring Drake, a Juelz Santana team-up called “Bloody Mary,” and an electrifying freestyle called “Big Bad Wolf.”
During an appearance on the NFL Network’s NFL GameDay Prime last month, Wayne elaborated on why he decided to release the mixtape in two parts. “What we ended up doing, I ended up doing a whole bunch of songs so they wanna split it up. So they gonna drop one version for Christmas and drop the other songs after that.” DJ Drama and Lil Wayne started their unprecedented Dedication mixtape run in 2005.
Lil Wayne Drops New ‘Big Bad Wolf’ Track
Lil Wayne is continuing to drop new music, and on Tuesday (January 23), he dropped “Big Bad Wolf,” which will be featured on his Dedication 6 Reloaded mixtape. While there is no official release date for the project, this is the second song Wayne has released; he recently dropped a remix of JAY-Z’s “Family Feud,” which features Drake.
