Joe Rogan was stunned when comedian Colum Tyrrell told him about Donald Trump’s comments on Nicki Minaj’s body during their podcast episode released October 29th.
According to Mediaite, the exchange on “The Joe Rogan Experience” began during a discussion of Trump’s attachment to “YMCA.” Rogan had not heard about the incident. Trump’s comments came at his October 25 campaign appearance in Port Huron, Michigan. Minaj was in the crowd when the president interrupted his account of comments about Sen. Jon Husted to compliment her backside. Trump later expressed hope that the rapper had not been offended, then returned to the speech he had paused.
50 Cent shared footage of Trump’s speech and told followers he was confused by what he was seeing. His post paired that response with a suggestion to laugh. Rogan had his own history with the president. The Associated Press reported his endorsement of Trump on November 4, 2024, after an interview with Elon Musk. Trump had appeared on Rogan’s podcast the previous month for a three-hour conversation. Minaj, meanwhile, had explained her support in an interview aboard Air Force One on the way to Michigan. Speaking with White House communications director Steven Cheung, she pointed to Trump’s business experience as a reason she trusted him with the economy. She also praised his stamina and approach to dealing with other countries.
