According to reports, ESPN has decided to phase out its top-rated morning radio show amid company-wide layoffs.

The decision is especially consequential for Max Kellerman, who will also lose his show called This Just In as the “World Wide Leader in Sports” gears up for The Pat McAfee Show to join the fold this Fall. Thankfully, Max on Boxing remains a must-watch program among fight fans.

With so many budget cuts looming, there is growing speculation that ESPN is preparing to make a run at the most sought-after free agent in sports television, Shannon Sharpe. Ironically enough, some reports have suggested Keyshawn Johnson might be headed to FS1 to replace Shannon as Skip’s partner on Undisputed if he reaches a buyout with ESPN.
