During a demonstration in Buffalo, NY to protest police brutality and commemorate George Floyd, officers shoved an elderly man to the ground causing him to hit his head.
While on the ground a pool of blood began to form under the man’s skull as he laid there while the cops seemed indifferent to what had just occurred. Officers reportedly stated that the 75-year-old tripped and fell in the official police repor. After the video went viral, however, the Buffalo Police Commissioner Byron Lockwood issued a statement announcing the suspension of the officers involved and said the elderly man is currently in stable but serious condition. βI was deeply disturbed by the video, as was Buffalo Police Commissioner Byron Lockwood,β said Buffalo Mayor Byron Brown. βHe directed an immediate investigation into the matter, and the two officers have been suspended without pay,β he added.
