The loss of Big L still stings in the Hip-Hop world, but many still keep the late Harlem emcee’s legacy alive.

Now, news surfaced noting Big L’s legacy will be commemorated by way of a street in Harlem being named after him. 140th Street and Lenox Avenue will reportedly be renamed “Lamont ‘Big L’ Coleman Way.” This past Friday, the announcement was made via Big L’s official Instagram page. The street is significant to the legacy of Big L, as the rapper grew up around the area and even rapped about it on the track “Danger Zone.”
