Reports previously surfaced noting that millions of people were attempting to flee Ukraine and find refuge in adjacent countries due to the conflict with Russia.
However, video footage and reports have come showing Africans in the country being discriminated against, with the people not being able to board trains and other types of transportation out of the country due to the colour of their skin. The reports have since gone viral, and now Young Thug has taken to social media to express his concern and offer help. Via Instagram, Thugger wrote:
“If some of my rap brothers are in, I’m willing to help Africans get out of Ukraine however I can sense they not letting us pass.Whoever holds the info for these movements, please contact me ASAP I’m ready.”
The alleged denial of Africans and others out of the country has reportedly been happening at the Ukrainian-Polish border in the northwest region. The allegations say the local police and border agents only let white Ukrainians get on transportation while denying or limiting access to Black people.
