According to U.S. Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin, the coronavirus quarantine is expected to last for about 12 weeks or at least into June 2020.

Mnuchin appeared on Fox Sunday and noted the outbreak is supposed to last for 10 to 12 weeks. When asked why it took so long for the federal government to respond, Mnuchin said “Nobody expected this to take off at the rate it did.” However, the White House was reportedly aware of the possibility of a pandemic since the beginning of 2020.
