Ice Cube recently took to CNN to address the backlash heā€™s faced for working with the Trump campaignĀ on a plan for Black America.

Cube said he reached out to both Biden and Trumpā€™s camps, but the Trump campaign is the one who immediately jumped at trying to talk to the rapper. Now, T.I. has given his thoughts on the situation, saying people should give Cube the benefit of his reputation in the matter. During an interview on Power 106, T.I. talked about the controversy surrounding Ice Cube and said, ā€œWhat you have to do is give Cube the benefit of his reputation. If we ainā€™t never known or seen or caught Cube on no bullsh*t, doing no tap dancing or bending over backwards for a white supremacist, why you think he just gonā€™ start right now?ā€ T.I. continued on to say if weā€™ve never seen Cube on something that riles up the public, why would we assume heā€™s looking to do that now? T.I. drove his point home by saying, give Ice Cube the credit of his credibility.
