Initially, it was thought that Apple would take a chance on scooping up and promoting the event, but now news has surfaced noting the two producers have sold their brand to another company: Triller. Reports noted that Swizz and Timbaland are ālarge shareholdersā in the Triller network, which was in exchange for selling their brand. Along with that, the 42 artists who were featured on Verzuz have been made shareholders in Triller as well. Timbaland and Swizz Beatz issued a statement on the new move, saying: āWe couldnāt be happier to be elevating Verzuz and Triller and to recognize, in a very real way, all of the artists who have helped make Verzuz the global phenomenon it is today.
