FCC chairman Brendan Carr took a comedic beating, as South Park returned with a brutal new episode sledging the under siege boss of the Federal Communications Commission.
Brendan Carr has faced backlash from liberals and conservative free speech champions for his rebuke of Jimmy Kimmel which led his late night talk show to be pulled off air for a week. Kimmel enjoyed a triumphant return last night and wasted no time in warning Carr’s actions were ‘not legal’ and ‘un-American’ after the chairman threatened to go after late night comics.
Now, he’s found himself at the center of more mockery in the fifth episode of South Park’s latest season, titled ‘Conflict of Interest.’ In the episode, Kyle is upset after he learns his classmates have been using the prediction markets app Kalshi to place bets on whether his mother will bomb a hospital in Gaza.
He calls the app’s strategic advisor – Donald Trump Jr. – and demands he call the FCC as they’re the body ‘dealing with all the offensive stuff now.’ Carr’s character is introduced at the White House, where President Donald Trump is desperately trying to abort a child he is having with Satan.
During the series of unfortunate events, Carr falls victim to Trump’s traps, tumbling down greasy stairs and contracting toxoplasmosis from cat feces.
