Shyne’s story as a rapper found him seeing success but ultimately being put in jail after a fateful incident in 1999 at a nightclub involving gunfire found him being put in prison.
Shyne ended up being convicted and receiving ten years for charges that included assault and reckless endangerment. The rapper was deported to Belize following his release and would transition into the world of politics. Since then, Shyne has served as the Opposition Leader for the House of Representatives in Belize. During a recent press conference, Shyne revealed a film on his life was in the works.
