Pusha T sat down with Funk Flex to speak about his return to the game with last week’s Daytona drop, much of the conversation revolved around rap’s biggest current battle between him and Drake.

The rivalry is one that Push says he didn’t foresee getting as personal as it has, but is game to take it as far as it goes on wax.

“It’s just, you know, it’s just back and forth, and listen: still competitive. Still cool. You know, it’s whatever, man,” Push said after breaking down how he’s gained a sense that Drizzy has been sniping at him ever since he joined GOOD Music.

While the subs Pusha says he’d occasionally pick up from the OVO boss along the way were for the most part coming from a respectable place, he feels like “lines were crossed.” The former Clipse lyricist added that he didn’t imagine “Infrared” would get Drake in his feelings the way it did. He contends that while the track was aimed at Cash Money for sure, the content was relatively “light” and didn’t cover much that he hasn’t stated in the past.
