During the Boston Celtics and Toronto Raptors game, Celtics big man Daniel Theis was kicked in the face by Raptors’ forward Pascal Siakam.
The Raptors star was caught trying to adjust in the air after realizing that the initial offensive player no longer had the ball. Siakam’s awkward movement caused the inadvertent kick and drew a personal foul. However, after the incident, Siakam checked on Theis, demonstrating there was no malintent behind the kick. Theis later walked up to the free-throw line and sank two free throws.
