While Mike Tyson and Evander Holyfield prepare to face off after 20+ years, another boxing legend is preparing for a return to the ring this summer.

Oscar De La Hoya, 48, recently announced that his return to boxing will happen in July. “July 3rd, I’m making my comeback,” De La Hoya said during the Jake Paul and Ben Askren press conference. However, De La Hoya didn’t disclose who his opponent will be in July.  De La Hoya’s last professional fight was a 2008 loss to Manny Pacquiao but he’s been teasing a comeback since August 2020.
