Details came out surrounding the murder of Breonna Taylor, who reportedly survived 5 minutes after being shot by Louisville Police. The revelation of those details upset many, and now Oprah has made a statement of her own.

Oprah previously put an image of the young woman on the cover of her magazine, which is monumental because Oprah has consistently appeared on the cover since the creation of the magazine 20 years ago. Now, Oprah has purchased 26 billboards to be placed across Louisville, Kentucky, the hometown of Taylor. The 26 billboards represent the number of years the young woman was alive before officers Brett Hankison, Jonathan Mattingly, and Myles Cosgrove conducted a raid at the home of Taylor, which resulted in her death. Hankison reportedly was one of three cops who fired their weapon during the raid that took place on March 13 at Taylor’s home.
