In the wake of Quavo’s emotional tribute to Takeoff on Grammy night, an audio clip of J Prince calling into question the integrity of Offset, went viral.
The commentary didn’t sit well with Offset, who hopped on social media to address the accusations and defend his honour with a message for J Prince about staying out of his family’s business. In response, the legendary CEO of Rap-A-Lot Records turned the heat up on the back-and-forth feud when he posted an audio message alleging that Offset previously sought his council and protection. He even outlined an incident involving his wife, Cardi B, before mentioning Takeoff’s mother, Titania Davenport-Treet. J Prince also claimed that his own family didn’t like him.
Cardi B quickly fired back at J Prince on Twitter. The NYC-based emcee shot down J Prince’s accusations by stating that it was actually Wack 100 and Big U who resolved a matter of concern regarding a live show of hers in Los Angeles, not him. Offset also clapped back at J Prince on Twitter with a similar message about the topic broached by his wife.
