ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski revealed that NBA team owners and executives are predicting that the season will resume in June without fans in a best-case scenario.
Wojnarowski tweeted,
CDC recommendation of no events of 50-plus people for next two months comes as a number of NBA owners and executives increasingly believe a best case scenario is a mid-to-late June return to play — with no fans. League's scouting for possible arena dates all the way thru August.

Wojnarowski also revealed that the NBA has told players that they can leave their team’s respective cities as the CDC recommended no gatherings of more than 50 people to take place. This comes after Pistons player Christian Wood became the third NBA player to test positive for coronavirus, following Jazz players Rudy Gobert and Donovan Mitchell.
