With Tha Carter VI confirmed to drop everywhere on June 6th, Weezy announced he’ll be making his headlining MSG debut that night to celebrate the anticipated album’s release.

The sixth installment of Wayne’s Tha Carter series follows up on its predecessor, Tha Carter V, which dropped back in 2018. The Carter VI will also mark the rapper’s first solo studio project since 2020’s Funeral.  As revealed in an interview with Rolling Stone last week, the album is expected to feature contributions from Wyclef Jean, Andrea Bocelli, Miley Cyrus, Elephant Man, Machine Gun Kelly, Bono, Wheezy, his son Kameron Carter, and potentially, Ye. An uncleared Billie Eilish sample was also discussed in the interview. A final tracklist has yet to be confirmed, but stay tuned as more official information materializes.
