Lil Baby has been making such an impact with his music.
With his song “The Bigger Picture” cutting through as an anthem in 2020 during the tumultuous circumstances surrounding the loss of many Black people to police brutality, as well as a heated climate filled with protests during a global pandemic. The timing of his anthem, unfortunately, coincides with the loss of George Floyd, but Lil Baby noted that his song was more than just a song related to the tragic Floyd, despite his feelings about the situation. During an MSNBC interview with Ari Melber for ‘The Beat,’ Lil Baby noted he stays away from posting too much about his personal life and views on politics but said the energy surrounding the 2020 election wasn’t something he couldn’t ignore.
