Last night’s NBA Finals game was all about the Raptors as they soundly defeated the Warriors who were playing without Klay Thompson and Kevin Durant, thus likely leading to the frustration shown by a ‘fan’ sitting courtside who pushed Kyle Lowry after he dove into the stands for a loose ball.
Now it’s been revealed that the man in question is actually Mark Stevens who’s a part owner of the Warriors, which has garnered the attention of LeBron James who took to social media today to call the actions inexcusable.
“There’s absolutely no place in our BEAUTIFUL game for that AT ALL. When you sit courtside you absolutely know what comes with being on the floor and if you don’t know it’s on the back on the ticket itself that states the guidelines. But he himself being a fan but more importantly PART-OWNER of the Warriors knew exactly what he was doing which was so uncalled for.”

Warriors Minority Owner Fined, Banned for 1 Year for Shoving Kyle Lowry
Warriors minority owner Mark Stevens was banned from attending NBA games for one year and fined $500,000 for shoving Raptors player Kyle Lowry. Stevens was also seen repeatedly cursing at Lowry during Game 3 of the NBA Finals.
The NBA released a statement which read:
“A team representative must be held to the highest possible standard, and the conduct of Golden State Warriors investor Mark Stevens last night was beyond unacceptable and has no place in our league. As the review of this matter continues, Mr. Stevens will not be permitted to attend NBA games.”
Lowry responded to the situation before the decision was made, telling the media:
“He’s not a good look for the ownership group they have… A guy like that, showing his true class, he shouldn’t be a part of our league. There’s just no place for that. I was furious, I’m not going to lie.”
