The G.O.O.D. Music Summer continues. First, Pusha T blessed the hip-hop community with DAYTONA, an album that is being called an instant classic by many.
The 7 track album was entirely produced by Kanye West, who also released a solo album called ye last week. West’s album was also well received, and it looks like he will grab the number one spot on Billboard this week for the project.
Before the Summer is up, West will have several other projects he’s producing hitting the shelves. The polarizing rapper is producing Nas’ upcoming album, as well as Teyana Taylor’s latest project. Before those albums are released though, Mr. West and Kid Cudi are dropping a joint album called Kids See Ghosts. Cudi took to Twitter on Tuesday (June 5) to reveal the cover art for the joint album. “Artwork by Takashi Murakami,” wrote Cudi after sharing the picture.
Kid See Ghosts drops this Friday, and an album release party was announced by Cudi’s manager Dennis Cummings, which will most likely take place on Thursday evening in Los Angeles.
