With free agency right around the corner, there are more rumors and reports coming out by the day that has top tier free agents leaning toward particular teams.

The latest update on Kawhi Leonard’s free agency has him confirming the thoughts of many who believe he will likely join the Clippers and return home to Southern California. Longtime NBA writer for The Athletic Frank Isola confirmed the report and tweeted out:

“Kawhi and the Clippers meeting tentatively scheduled for July 2nd is what I’m hearing. LA has a home court advantage but Toronto can get him another title next year.”

This comes on the heels of a couple of Clippers’ billboards surfaced asking Kawhi to come back home. While it seems like Toronto has an opportunity to retain him, Kawhi doesn’t have anything left to prove in The North which most likely points to him returning home.
