Amidst all the controversy surrounding his sociopolitical views, many fans of Kanye West were awaiting new music from the Chicago native.
After streaming his listening party live from Jackson, Wyoming, Kanye has dropped his latest studio album titled simply, Ye. The record is dense with references, ranging from Stormy Daniels, North Korea, Will Smith and Russell Simmons, and Ye’s own comments regarding slavery as a choice.
The album features Ty Dolla $ign, Kid Cudi, Jeremih, Young Thug, 070 Shake, Charlie Wilson and a voicemail from Nicki Minaj. Track titles include “I Thought About Killing You,” “Ghost Town,” and “Wouldn’t Leave.”
