Jay Electronica recently released his āA Written Testimony,ā which was met with great fanfare. However, Peter Rosenberg of Hot 97 took to Twitter to call out some lyrics from the album that didnāt sit well with him, which was met with a confrontational response by Jay Electronica.
Rosenberg cited a line from the rapperās album that mentioned theĀ āsynagogues of Satanā and said, āNot feeling this bar from Jay Electronica, and I know Iām not the only person who felt a way about it.ā From there, Rosenberg explained his views and said the lyrics put him in a ābad positionā and that he was offended.
Rosenberg responded by saying:
"My feet might fail me, my heart might ail me
The synagogues of Satan might accuse or jail me"Not feeling this bar from Jay Electronica and I know I'm not the only person who felt a way about it .

Apologies I quoted the wrong song … when I googled "Synagogue of Satan" — I mistakenly assumed Jay only said it once… this is the second time … the line this time is "The synagogue of Satan want me to hang by my collar" . lol my bad..songs dope besides that cringe though

The rapper also made it clear that he stands by every word he said on the album, and then invited the Hot 97 personality to discuss the issue in a public forum:
