Legendary actor Paul Sorvino has passed away at the age of 83 according to reports. 

A representative for Sorvino—Roger Neal told TMZ the actor passed away early with his wife Dee Dee by his side. Sorvino’s wife said, “Our hearts are broken, there will never be another Paul Sorvino, he was the love of my life, and one of the greatest performers to ever grace the screen and stage.”

The Brooklyn-born-and-raised actor studied at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in New York before making his way into the film industry. The actor is known for his appearances in movies like ‘Goodfellas,’ where he played Paulie Cicero. Sorvino also appeared on shows like ‘Law & Order’ and movies like ‘Romeo + Juliet’ and ‘Money Talks’ alongside Chris Tucker. The actor made one of his last appearances in the show ‘Godfather of Harlem’ with Forest Whitaker. 

The actor leaves behind three children, including Oscar winner Mira Sorvino.
