The City Girls’ rise to prominence has been full-speed, especially after JT was released from prison.

In 2018, the group found themselves getting a stamp from one of the biggest artists in the game—Drake, on his massive hit “In My Feelings.” Now, JT and Yung Miami spoke on the hit, and how they didn’t think they were going to make the album. While being interviewed on the ‘Carlos Watson Show,’ the duo were very candid about how they felt about being contacted by Drake for the song. The duo noted they had to keep the collaboration a secret for a month, and how their appearance was in limbo. The duo said they were grateful for the call, despite most of their verses being taken off the track.
