Boosie recently sat down with Cam Newton on his “4th and 1” podcast, where he was asked about what he would do if he was a new artist coming out today.
Boosie explained that in today’s era, it seems that being “real” is not as important as it once was. He added that back when he first came out, being real was everything. Your life story had to match your lyrics, and people looked up to that. He went on to say that now, it’s just not celebrated or acknowledged in the same way.
