Black Panther isn’t even out in theatres yet, but it’s already breaking records. Presale tickets for the Marvel film went on sale Tuesday. Actress Lupita Nyong’o, who is starring in the movie, tweeted on Tuesday, “I’m excited to share that the wait is OVER! Time to pounce on your ticket for @BlackPanther.”

By the time she went back to snag some, they were gone. “And then it occurred to me; I should get tickets too.” Nyong’o said in a video she posted on Twitter. ” So that I can be there when the movie hits theatres and I could experience it with everybody. 15 minutes later. I kid you not. 15 minutes later I was trying to purchase tickets, and they were sold out. Sold out! It told me that there was an error. And I tried again. Still the same error. And every time I tried– fewer seats! Like, there were no seats, and I was unable to buy tickets to see Black Panther on opening night! That’s insane! Wow.”

Well, that’s because Fandango announced Wednesday that Black Panther was Marvel’s first movie ever to sell out of tickets in just 24 hours. The film has also been praised because of its cast– staring not only Nyong’o, but Chadwick Boseman, Michael B. Jordan, Angela Basset and Sterling K. Brown.

Black Panther is in theaters on February 16th.
