President Joe Biden announced on Tuesday that there will be enough supplies of COVID-19 vaccines to vaccinate every American by May.

The Biden administration’s new target date is two months earlier than originally announced a few weeks ago. As part of the expedited rollout, Biden is asking every state to prioritize teachers, child care workers, and school staff members as his administration push for school reopenings around the country.
