B-Real recently had a long discussion on Tony A. Da Wizard’s “Roadium Radio” show.
About an hour and 43 minutes into the interview, the Cypress Hill member called out Steve Harvey for constant criticism of Hip Hop. When asked about previously stating that the comedian had no love for Hip Hop, B-Real doubled down and said, “None, zero,” before recalling Steve Harvey’s tenure as a radio host for the Los Angeles radio station 92.3. According to the rapper, the TV host was brought in to compete with Big Boy and rival station Power 106 but he knew the hire was questionable. He continued by highlighting Hip Hop saving a lot of Black and Brown lives and how the genre is intertwined with many cultures including comedy. Despite their differing opinions, B-Real said he’s open to having a dialogue with Steve Harvey about his views on Hip Hop.
