Robert Kiyosaki sat down for his first-ever VladTV interview, and Vlad started off speaking to him about his best-selling book, “Rich Dad, Poor Dad.”
From there, Robert spoke about growing up in Hawaii with his professor father, and nurse mother. Vlad then pointed out that Robert’s father was the head of education in Hawaii, which led to Robert revealing that his father never graduated from college. Robert then spoke about flunking out of high school twice, and he clarified that it was because he didn’t like school. Robert then added that he flunked English because he couldn’t write, which he pointed out is ironic because he’s now a best-selling author. Robert then spoke about going into the Navy and the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy and going on to join the Marine Corps, where he went to flight school. From there, Robert spoke about going to the Vietnam war, where his helicopter was shot down three times.
