ASAP Rocky’s tumultuous time in a Sweden prison in 2019 was a storied one, making headlines worldwide.
The situation made so much noise that former president Donald Trump even tried to step in with help to get the New York rapper out of being locked up abroad. Now, Rocky is reportedly releasing a documentary about the time he spent in a Swedish jail called ’Stockholm Syndrome.’ The documentary is set to debut at the Tribeca Film Festival and features appearances from Tyler, The Creator, Kim Kardashian, ASAP Ferg, Naomi Campbell, and more. The 105-minute film will reportedly show interviews and archival footage related to Rocky to tell the story of how the rapper became wrapped up in an incident that almost cost him his freedom. The film is directed by The Architects and finds the directors focusing on Rocky’s time—roughly over a month, spent in a Swedish jail after a brawl that went down in Stockholm.
