Manny Pacquiao defeated Adrien Broner in a 12-round decision at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, in what many boxing experts would describe as convincing fashion.
Broner landed only three body punches throughout the match in comparison to 47 landed by Pacquiao, while the Philippine icon sent the Cincinnati legend backward twice with big left hooks in the seventh and ninth rounds. After the fight, Broner insisted that he had actually been robbed in the decision, telling Jim Gray that he controlled the fight in an epic post-fight interview.
Now 48 hours later, Broner still appears to be as confident as he’s ever been, posting a picture of himself after the fight unscathed, in addition to a post in which he declared himself to still be one of the best in the sport.
“I will be champion again,” AB wrote in the post, “I feel great, I’m going back to the gym and until my next fight date I’m [going] to spend some of these M’s I just made #StillWinning,” before posting another photo of dice with a caption that read: “Who still in Vegas let’s gamble.”
