In this VladTV interview, Shawn Prez sits down again with former Army Ranger sniper and New York Times bestselling author Nicholas Irving to discuss his new book, *Reaper Revelations*, released October 5 on Amazon.

Irving explains how the fictional story follows “The Reaper” as he confronts shadowy power structures, human trafficking networks, and alleged involvement by world governments—topics he says he can explore more freely through fiction. The conversation also touches on Irving’s first in-person Vlad interview with Rob O’Neill, the tight-knit Special Operations community, including SEAL Team Six, Delta Force, Dale Comstock, and John “Shrek” McPhee. Irving opens up about New York’s cannabis laws, veteran mental health, avoiding VA and Big Pharma medications, and how meditation helps him stay grounded. He also shares the inspiration behind his character’s look, including *LĂ©on: The Professional*.

The conversation expands into America’s deep political divide, California, Texas, Florida, MAGA politics, “drain the swamp” promises, socialism debates, income tax, and the changing tone of presidential leadership in the social media era. Prez and Irving also debate whether Trump is an anomaly or the new blueprint for American politics—and what voters should expect from leaders who speak without filters.
