Earlier this month, YG premiered a new track at Coachella titled “Stop Snitchin,” that appeared to be aimed at Tekashi with consideration to how the rainbow-haired rapper’s mugshot was plastered all over the screen.
Now weeks later, the Bompton emcee has released the visuals for the record with an entirely different direction, as YG himself plays the character of an enslaved man who’s attempting to escape and regain his freedom. The graphic video depicts whipping, lynchings, and other acts of violence, with a central theme that revolves around the consequences of snitching.
The track will be included on his upcoming 4th studio album 4REAL 4REAL, that was pushed back until May 3rd out of respect for Nipsey Hussle.
