Universal Pictures has picked up a remake of the iconic gangster film Scarface, which has been written by the Coen Brothers.
The duo is known for such films as Raising Arizona, The Big Lebowski, and Fargo. According to Variety, they have pegged Narcos actor Diego Luna for the lead role. The gangster film has been remade several times, including 1983 classic starring Al Pacino and Michelle Pfeiffer. Brian DePalma directed the film and went on to work on Mission: Impossible and Carlito’s Way.
