According to TMZ, Travis Scott is preparing to turn the Astroworld tragedy into an effort to improve concert safety across the country.

Sources close to Scott said he’s been meeting with officials from the United States Conference of Mayors (USCM) about creating a governing body comprised of members of government, public safety, emergency response, health care event management, music, and technology to develop a safety report that can be used for future events. The group will look to “aggressively focus on new technologies and innovations that offer ways to address these challenges.”

While the Astroworld tragedy has toxified Travis Scott as a performer, in the interim, working on ensuring concert safety for everyone moving forward could bring advertisers, promoters, corporate endorsers, etc. back on board sooner rather than later.
