Tobe Nwigwe had an unusual pair of studio guests when Jay Electronica came to record: two Great Danes that the Houston rapper compared to horses.

Nwigwe shared the memory during an interview with Angela Yee, where he appeared with his wife and collaborator, Fat Nwigwe. He said Jay brought the dogs to a Houston session and stopped about every 15 minutes to walk them while working on his verse. The story came with respect, not a complaint about the feature. Nwigwe described Jay as sincere and passionate. Fat recalled him making up his verse in the booth without writing it down.

The session date wasn’t given. The interview arrived as The Bridge reached streaming services. Jay Electronica joins Tobe and Fat on “ALLAHUAKBARS,” one of the album’s 12 tracks. Its release credits list Tobe Nwigwe LLC, with exclusive distribution by Human Re Sources. The project connects the Texas rapper’s Houston upbringing with his Nigerian family roots. That mix runs through its guests: Paul Wall appears on “TOPS DROP ’26,” Nigerian group The Cavemen joins him on “CHOP,” and they return for two more songs.
