Tekashi 6ix9ine apparently doesn’t have much to celebrate these days as the rapper is currently in jail awaiting trial set to begin in September 2019.

But the prospects of life in prison has somehow bolstered the Brooklyn rapper’s profile as reports state 6ix9ine’s album, Dummy Boy, has amassed over a billion streams across all streaming platforms. That includes over 700 million streams on Spotify alone.

Dummy Boy‘s success doesn’t stop there. The album is also reported to debut at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 behind Travis Scott’s ASTROWORLD which comes in at No. 1 for the second consecutive week.
