Tekashi 6ix9ine was arrested in the Dominican Republic on Friday (October 13) after allegedly assaulting two producers.
This comes after footage surfaced of Tekashi and a group of other men running up on a producer in the Dominican Republic who allegedly insulted Tekashi’s girlfriend. The producers later shared a video of the injuries they sustained in the alleged attack. Over the weekend, footage surfaced of Tekashi being led by police out of a hotel in the Dominican Republic, as a crowd of people gathered outside to jeer the controversial rap figure. The Daily Mail obtained Tekashi’s mugshot after his arrest, and his arrest was confirmed to the outlet by Dominican Republic-based criminal lawyer Felix Portes.
