T.I. Says Pharrell Took a “Pay Cut” to Produce on His First Album

T.I. recently appeared on Shannon Sharpe’s ‘Club Shay Shay’ podcast and was asked about all the producers he worked with. 

Sharpe mentioned producers like Kanye West, Dr. Dre, Jazze Pha, and others. He then asked about the differences between working with any of the producers. Tip said he appreciated the opportunity to work among the elite and gave a special acknowledgment to DJ Toomp, saying, “that’s my Dr. Dre.”
