Suge Knight and Sean “Diddy” Combs have had a well-documented rivalry stretching back decades, but the former Death Row Records CEO is now showing some sympathy.
During Diddy’s ongoing legal battle, his former assistant, Capricorn Clark, alleged that he once threatened to kill her after discovering she had previously worked for Knight. Additionally, in a separate claim, Cassie Ventura testified that Diddy abruptly left one of his so-called “freak-offs” with armed bodyguards after learning Suge was dining nearby at a Los Angeles diner. Despite their history, Knight shared words of compassion for Diddy during a recent interview with CNN’s chief legal analyst Laura Coates.
He went on to speculate about the possibility of a pardon if Diddy is convicted. “If Puffy gets convicted, Trump’s going to pardon him. Trump is a president that stands up and does what he wants to do, and he’s going to do what he feels is best. So Puffy has nothing to worry about.”
